Vintage Dance

So, yes. We had the dance on Friday night... It was pretty wonderful I thought. :)

My gorgeous friend Juli.

Whip the Willow I think...

Scott. :D

Michaela and AndraLea

Kerilynn spinning.

Elisa, my beautiful little sister. That's my friend Beka and I in the background. :P Each of us making goofy faces. :P

Me with my very good friends Benny and Katy. :D

It was tons of fun. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I wish I had a camera so that I could have taken some pictures... Benny actually took that last one with Katy's really nice camera. The rest were taken with Elisa's camera which only holds about 10 pictures at a time. :P

You and Me by Lifehouse, one of the songs that we used for a dance. :) It makes me so happy... :)

Vintage Dance Tomorrow :D

I've been planning a vintage dance for the past month or so and it's happening tomorrow. :) I went to Portland with a bunch of friends a week or two ago to look for dresses.

I did find one though it wasn't what I was thinking originally, but I think it will look nice. :)

I don't have a camera so no pictures from me but the ones from Portland are nice and hopefully there will be some good ones from the dance.

But I've been really busy lately getting ready for it.

Jet Skiing is the BEST

So like I said, yesterday was TONS OF FUN!

Papa, Forrest, Elisa, and Owen went to Cougar on Wednesday and I got picked up on Thursday by Scott, Andy and Daniel. We got to the lake just as everyone else was getting there despite predictions of doom. :D

Daniel slipping on the slimy rocks.

Me getting ready to go out with Scott. Jet skiing is one of the best things ever! It's very different on a lake than on the river which is where we usually go. You can pull the gas all the way down and still want to go faster on the lake. It's very smooth, it feels like flying. :D

Andy trying out the stand up!

Elisa :)

Papa, Forrest, and Daniel each making weird faces. :D

The beautiful scenery!

I went out once by myself and went as fast as I possibly could on the sit down. It really wasn't fast enough...

After skiing Papa went to the cabin to start on dinner while the rest of us went hiking. :D We walked completely over the suspension bridge and all over slippery rocks and lots of cool stuff. Some of us obeyed the rules to stay on the trail. Note the "some".

By the time we got back to the truck it was getting dark. We drove to the cabin and had a fabulous dinner involving barbecued pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, and salad. YUM! Squirrel Nut Zippers was going on in the background. :D Thus, the song for today.

After dinner it was pretty late so Scott, Andy, Daniel, and I started home. Everyone else stayed another night and went jet skiing again today. :)
It was a nice drive home, Scott and I talked, Andy read, and Daniel slept.

I am very contented with that day. :D

Song for today and other things

So I had an extremely awesome day today. :D And if it wasn't 2:17 in the morning I would post about it. But since it is I will just wait for another time. The real reason I opened this window was to share a link.

You should go read his blog. He cracks me up! I laughed out loud several times while reading.

Also, this song is beautiful. :)

I started choir on Wednesday! I love it so much. :D

And finally, I have an interview tomorrow! I've been waiting for this interview for several weeks now. :P 3:00 with Bath and Body Works! I really want and need this job... So, I am going to go to bed now because first of all, my coffee is all gone, and second, I really should not be super tired tomorrow. :P Er, today.

Goodnight my friends!
